To maintain a safe, trustworthy directory, all sitters agree to the following standards:
1. Professionalism
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with pet owners
- Arrive on time for scheduled services
- Provide honest, accurate information about your services
2. Safety & Care
- Treat pets with kindness and respect
- Follow all instructions provided by pet owners
- Notify owners immediately of any issues or emergencies
3. Legal Compliance
- Maintain any required business licenses or insurance
- Follow all local, state, and federal laws
- Do not engage in illegal or unsafe conduct
4. Honesty & Transparency
- Do not misrepresent your experience or qualifications
- Do not upload false or misleading information
- Keep your listing updated and accurate
5. Respect for Property
- Respect the homes and belongings of pet owners
- Report accidental damage immediately
- Leave homes in the condition you found them
6. Content Standards
- Upload only photos you own or have rights to use
- Do not upload inappropriate, harmful, or infringing content
7. No Harassment or Abuse
- Do not engage in harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior
- Maintain professional boundaries at all times
8. Compliance with GentlePaws.pet Policies
- Follow the Terms of Use and Subscriber Agreement
- Cooperate with any investigation into misconduct
- Understand that violations may result in listing removal
